Recording The Pelican Brief podcast live |
Each episode has a few topics that we cover, and we may invite a special guest or expert in the field of a featured topic. If you are a special guest, you can attend the recording live at that week's location.
You can create a profile on Twitter, or you can dust off the old Twitter Profile you made in 2015 and use that. For whatever reason, many people involved in Real Estate's future in Cryptocurrency and NFT's are hosting conversations on Twitter Spaces. If you receive an invite to The Pelican Brief podcast, you can also add this event to your calendar.
Everyone is invited to be in The Pelican Brief spaces, where you can listen live, and if you have a question or comment, you can raise your hand, and one of the moderators can bring you 'up on stage' to hear you. Just keep in mind that it is being recorded and you will likely be on the podcast.
TIP: If you do choose to be on the program from your phone, please make sure there aren't background noises distracting us from hearing you. You can also use AirPods or another type of earbuds with a microphone which makes your voice more clear over the phone. Also, make sure you have a good connection to WiFi so your phone transmits a clear connection.
Here is a link to The Pelican Brief so you can hear an example.
The Pelican Brief is published as a podcast on the following Thursday. It is syndicated so that anyone can listen, and subscribe, through Apple, Spotify, or Google podcast apps.
Do you have an Idea for a Segment? (see below)
Generally, each podcast covers three segments. If you have an idea for a segment on one of our next shows, we are interested in hearing about your idea, and you can become a special guest for that podcast. Simply contact Joe Gierlach, on whatever social media platform brought you to this blog post.
We are also looking for a person to be a "fact-checker" who will listen to the live podcast, look-up things on line that come up in the conversation, and provide little facts and details that we may be missing. This person would be a regular contributor and moderator of the podcast.
We need a Five Second Jingle, if you are a musician, or a digital composer, check out this video:
You decide what level of participation you are comfortable with. You can be a special guest, a local expert, a regular contributor, a live participant, or a podcast subscriber.
